Cross Border International Students Marathon

The Cross Border International Students Marathon brought together students from both sides of the Isebania border for a symbolic run across the crossing itself. Patronized by the County Commissioner of Migori, Kenya, the event combined athletics with advocacy — raising awareness against female genital mutilation across Mara Region and Migori County.

Alongside the run, volunteers led a cross-border tree-planting campaign, reinforcing the day's message: that the border is a place of connection, not division.
