Yes — ferry and airport shuttle service is available by appointment at a discounted rate for guests. Message us on WhatsApp ahead of arrival to arrange it.
Is Wi-Fi available?
Yes, Wi-Fi is available throughout the hostel at no extra charge.
Can I do laundry during my stay?
A coin/fee-based washing machine is available on-site.

Do you have private rooms, or only dorms?
Mixed Dorm Rooms are confirmed and bookable now. Additional private room types are being finalized — check our Rooms page for the latest.
How do I pay for my booking?
Bookings are paid securely online at checkout via SN Pay. Your reservation is confirmed automatically once payment is verified.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and check-out is from 5:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Contact us in advance if you need to arrive or leave outside this window.
How close is Vuga Hostel to the beach?
Stone Town Beach is roughly 150 meters away — about a 2-minute walk.
How far is Vuga Hostel from the center of Stone Town?
We're right in the heart of Stone Town's historic Shangani quarter — walking distance to the House of Wonders (750 m), the Old Fort of Zanzibar (600 m), and Forodhani Food Garden.
Are children allowed to stay?
Vuga Hostel is not able to accommodate children, and cribs or extra beds are not available at the property.
Are pets allowed?
No, pets are not permitted at Vuga Hostel.
Do you allow parties or events?
No — Vuga Hostel does not accommodate parties, events, or bachelor/bachelorette groups.
